The 2018 GoPro Mountain Games will feature three nights of FREE concerts at the iconic Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail for GoPro Mountains of Music. Beginning at 6pm, The Amp will come alive with DJs and bands, winding down from a day of outdoor sport and lifestyle in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Join Beaver Creek’s renowned ski and snowboard instructors for a morning of exploring intermediate and advanced trails on the mountain, and pick up some new technique tips along the way. After challenging yourself in the snow, warm up and relax at Zach’s Cabin, perched on the mountain above Bachelor Gulch. Savor a gourmet lunch prepared by Denver-based guest chef and James Beard Award winner Jennifer Jasinski and Executive Chef Ron Jackson paired with unique wines from Scar of the Sea Winery to complete this elevated on-mountain experience.

At this exclusive cooking class, watch as guest chef and Food Network’s Alex Guarnaschelli works culinary magic at Splendido at the Chateau’s spectacular demonstration kitchen.

Enjoy gorgeous sunset views on your guided snowshoe excursion from Beaver Creek Village to Allie's Cabin. You'll be greeted with cozy slippers and a warm drink. Savor hand-selected wines from Schweiger Vineyards paired with a gourmet dinner prepared by Executive Chef Kirk Weems. Winemaker Andy Schweiger will discuss the pairings and his multi-generation winery with a father/son grower/winemaker team who have been working together for over twenty years. Cap off your night with a sleigh ride back to Beaver Creek Village to conclude a memorable weekend.

× THE COUNTRY'S LARGEST CELEBRATION OF ADVENTURE SPORTS, ART & MUSIC × 

VAIL, CO | JUNE 8-11

The country’s largest celebration of mountain sport and lifestyle drawing more than 2,500 athletes and 60,000 spectators to Vail each year. The GoPro Mountain Games showcases more than 25 sports in professional and amateur categories for more than $100K in prize money. Event venues range from Golden Peak to Vail Mountain, Solaris Plaza, Vail Pass, Homestake Creek and Lionshead Village.

Professional and amateur outdoor adventure athletes from the Vail Valley and around the world will converge upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in nine sports and 25 disciplines including: x-country and road cycling, freestyle, 8-Ball, sprint and extreme

kayaking, raft cross, World Cup Climbing, stand up paddle sprint and surf cross, as well as trail, mud and road running, dog comps and the Ultimate Mountain Challenge.

In addition to the athletic events, the GoPro Mountain Games will include a mountain photography competition, film festival, an interactive exhibition and demo area, live music, and mountain lifestyle parties.
